Timers

Cougar Parent Timing Sig-up is open effective immediately. A text was distributed to the team at the time of this posting.

We will need to provide the names of our timers, two/per session, by Thursday 6/23, so they can be checked in at admission. The sessions will be about three hours; timers can "trade off" once which means each timing assignment is about 1.5 hours.

Parking & Ticket Sales

The link for parking is on the BE Smartt website, www.besmarttinc.com.

 Ticket sales for spectators will go live on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 at 9:00AM.  http://go.rutgers.edu/swimmeet-tickets

IMPORTANT - FYI:  Swimmers returning for finals will need to secure a wristband, after their final event, at the control room before leaving the prelim sessions.

Competition Summary

Open Events = 3 Heats (400 Events 2 Heats) Swim at Finals
13-14 Events = 2 Heats (400 Events 1 Heat) Swim at Finals
11-12 Events = 1 Heat (400 Events are Timed Finals in afternoon) Swim at Finals
Distance Events = Timed Finals; All Heats Swim in Midday Session
Age Group Relays (11-12s / 13-14s) = Swim at the start of Afternoon Sessions each day.
Open Relays = All Events contested at Finals each night.
Friday 400 Freestyles - Swim last at Prelims, contested as first set of individual events at Finals (following open mixed relays)
50-Meter Events will start from the bulkhead and finish at the starting end.

  General Notes

•  Metro Swim Shop will be in the building as our vendor
•  Hawaiian Shirt Night on Saturday

• Swimmers use ONLY the Locker Rooms
• Coaches / Officials use Staff Bathrooms off the pool deck
  
• Ticketed spectators use the bathrooms on the concourse at the top of the ramp
  
  

COVID Policy Reminder – this is Rutgers Recreation Policy

 All people attending the meet require either:

• Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (booster not required) or
• Negative PCR test (not rapid test) within 72 hours of the start of the meet or
• Proof of testing positive for COVID-19 within the last 90 days.
