THINGS TO KNOW:
-In accordance with NJIT policy, parents/spectators will not be allowed into the facility.
-Meet will be livestreamed at
https://www.youtube.com/livesightproductions.
-Meet is for 9 years old and over only.
-For the 12u session - swimmers will be kept in a multipurpose room and marshalled to and from the pool.
-For the 13o session - swimmers will be kept on the pool deck and in the bleachers. No marshalling.
-In accordance with NJIT policy, athletes will either have to be vaccinated or show proof of a test within 2 days of the meet.
-In accordance with NJIT policy, anyone working the meet (coaches, volunteers, officials) will have to show proof of vaccination.
-To streamline the process at the door, vaccination cards and test results can be pre-submitted via e-mail to
healthcheck@cougaraquatic.com. Deadline to submit via e-mail will be 11:59pm on Friday 11/12. After that, it will have to be presented at the door.
-In order to be considered fully vaccinated, an individual must be 2 weeks post final shot. Anyone who is partially vaccinated will still have to show proof of a test.
-Rapid tests will be accepted as long as the swimmers name and the date the test was taken is clearly visible on the results.
-In accordance with NJIT policy, masks must be worn by all. No masks when in the water.
-Cougars and the NJIT Swim Team will provide all the timers for the meet.
-Anyone not able to show vaccination or test status will not be permitted into the building.
There will be no refunds for swimmers not admitted.
