Rich Palm is the Head Senior Coach in charge of overseeing our Senior B and Senior A training groups. He joined the coaching staff in September 2012 and took over as Head Coach in 2020. Coach Rich began competitively swimming at the age of 8 for the Summit YMCA Seals. He also swam for the Caldwell Center Cyclones and Lakeland Hills YMCA. He attended James Caldwell High School where he won the Northern Hills Conference twice, including his senior year as captain. He is also a member of the record holding 400 freestyle relay. Coach Rich continued his swimming career at Loyola University in Baltimore. While there Loyola won the MAAC conference championship three straight years and had the opportunity to train with Michael Phelps and Bob Bowman. Coach Rich is also the Head Coach of the Men's and Women's Swim Teams at Farleigh Dickinson University Madison.
