We are ecstatic to announce an incredible addition to our coaching staff.
Kenny Platt has been involved in aquatics in the state of New Jersey for thirty plus years. Kenny got his start at the Berkeley Heights Community Pool as a swim instructor in 1980 and spent the next thirty years there involved in all aspects of aquatics including competitive diving, lesson programs, and swim team. During these years, Kenny has coached competitive swimming at the West Essex YMCA, Somerset Valley YMCA, Streamline Aquatic Club, and the Montclair YMCA. Kenny has also held the position of Head Diving at Montclair State University and is currently heading up the New Providence Diving team. His most recent position was Head Age Group Coach at the Madison Area YMCA Mariners where he oversaw over 100 12/U athletes at all levels. During the day Kenny is a proud father to his son Joseph, he is an insurance underwrite, and roots for his alma mater, Syracuse University... Go Orange!
Kenny will be working with Age Group 1, Age Group 2 and Senior Prep Groups to help round out the Age Group Program Leadership Team of already well established coaches.
