The Cougar Aquatic Team and the Cougar Parent Organization host two meets each year, the Caitlin Lehmann Memorial Meet, in honor of a former CAT swimmer who was stricken with a rare form of cancer and passed away after high school.

Our other hosted meet is the 12&U Silver/Bronze Championships (formerly 9-10 Age Group Championship - North).

Why are we fundraising and where does the money go? The profit that is cleared from our hosted meets goes into a general fundraising account to support the team. The money we make on our other fundraising activities and the sale of the specialized Cougar clothing (bathing caps, towels, car magnets and other items) also goes into this fund. From these monies we have bought new lane lines, flags, equipment, pace clocks, etc for the benefit of our swimmers. At the end of the season, CAT provides a small scholarship to the graduating seniors based upon the number of years of high school participation on the team. The cost for the swimmers at both the Junior and Senior Awards dinners is subsidized these efforts as well.
